Excuse My Absence

Oh, wow… I haven’t posted in almost a month.. Whoops. Sorry to those of you who possibly find me interesting enough to want to know how I am.

Anyways, you may not know this, but I am a yugioh fan. I currently have  6 decks.

Spellcasters(the build for this one is quite old, but it can still hold its own)

Dragunities(Basically a modified version of the Dragunity Legion Structure Deck)

Six Samurai(utilizing Legendaries and Original, I currently do not own any Shi Ens or Kizans, so trades are accepted)

Scrap/Karakuri/Synchron(Basically an insta-summon deck for level 7-8 synchros, though I traded away my Bureido, cuz I wanted other stuff.)

Gravekeeper’s(Basically the Marik Structure Deck, just got it yesterday with a basket full of cards. Thanks again Nicole. :D)

Burn( Full of fireu, lifepoint rending goodness.)

Within the basket of cards I got TONS of staples and I got key cards to making an ever-so-annoying-to-play-against Stall/Lifepoint gain deck. I also got some anti-meta cards, mostly cards that remove monsters from play.

So yes, yesterday was a nerd paradise. That being said I have TONS of cards. So if you’d like to trade shoot me a comment or email me at Razeangel@live.com.

Alrighty until next time,

RazeExANGEL

P.S Feel free to add me on Skype, I’m not a stranger to Skype Duels. Skype name is RazeExANGEL.

Also Pokemon Black and White came out this week, so its surprising that I managed to get the powerpoint done. But I did and I shall document it here, for ze whol vorld to see. Vundervah.

Bulletstorm- A Gory Piece of Heaven P.S R.I.P Waggleton P. Tallylicker

Bulletstorm is NOT your basic shooter.

Single player:

Oh yes, Bulletstorm, Epic’s attempt to make up for pushing back Gears Of War 3 was released 3 days ago. This game is highly addictive. The game starts out with a hostage situation, then you get to control a drunken Greyson Hunt as he makes his way to the deck of his small fighter. Also aboard are the other members of Dead Echo, and elite squad turned space pirate. So enough out of revenge and clouded by his intoxication, Hunt takes on the Ulysses, an epic warship captained by Serrano, the man Greyson has sworn to kill. His attempt is feeble, but they manage to bring the collossus down with them. They crash on the planet of Stygia.  Greyson awakes from a memory-like dream that explains why Dead Echo went rogue. Upon waking Greyson finds that his comerade Ishi had been critically wounded in the crash. Greyson and Rell are tasked with finding parts to fix Ishi’s body. After finding the dropship you get a cool cutscene of a member of Final Echo taking on numerous Mooks….. then he gets crushed…. by a tumbling car. This is how Greyson obtains his leash. Once back at the ship the other members of Dead Echo are killed(save for Ishi) and the ship explodes from an overload. This is just the beginning. Skillshots aren’t unlocked until you access the first dropkit, and once you do the REAL fun begins. Not to mention the awesome overly profane dialogue, and the pure cinematic beauty of the game play. The game does seem to get repetitive later, but the all-out action and the amount of different things happening on screen at once tend to take your mind off of the limited amount of Skillshots(about 101). The villain is all that you’d believe a villain should be: evil, manipulative and swears like an angry sailor, in pain, after he lost a poker game, to a woman.

The multiplayer:

There is one rule I’d have to point out for this: HAVE A MICROPHONE. The first match I played went great. We all had mics, were able to coordinate team skillshots, completed challenges, we made it to Wave 16( the host had to go to work -_-). Every game I played after that sucked. Nobody had mics and they all play for their own glory. I especially hate the douchebags who don’t do the challenges and just kill things. I mean it doesn’t matter in the first couple of waves, but eventually you can’t pass if you don’t pull off all of the challenges you can guarantee yourself that you will play the same round again, and again, and again.

Other than that, the multiplayer is very fun, especially when you activate the Blood Symphony mode. While in this mode anything you kick, (and hit) will become an instant bloody pulp. There are more skillshots which aren’t present in the single player. They also made an allusion to Halo: Reach by adding a “Yoink” skillshot.

Overall:

I love this game, it appeals to my most basic instincts and allows me to be the greatest serial killer ever, without actually having to kill real things. SO in my opinion if you’re a fan of games that glorify massive violence, or if you like games that you can play loud heavy metal to, buy Bulletstorm. It won’t dissappoint.

Mr. CHS Jimi Hendrix Status

Last Saturday I participated in my high school’s first annual Mr. CHS “beauty pageant.” I know, I know, “Guys don’t do beauty pageants.” Well chug it. The event was rather fun. A bunch of friends, some good laughs. I actually made it past the “beauty” portion, but that’s as far as I could get because my act for the talent part got ruined (“sound guy left my mp3 on and it died.) So I had to do something else, and it turned out to be an awkward mess, so that sucked, but other than that it was a good time and a fun experience.

My makeshift solution to Virtual Reality gaming

Once again, I get brilliant ideas while at work… Where to begin, well I was thinking about the nazi zombies game mode in Call of Duty( For the record I HATE Call of Duty, if it weren’t for the zombies I wouldn’t play) and I was thinking about how cool it would be to play anywhere we wanted. Then I started thinking how cool it would be if it was virtual reality, then the idea struck me, it could be, but on an exclusive scale.

Here’s my idea:

First off, the level design would simple, say your house maybe. Design the level to look exactly like your house because players will be wearing a visor to help them see the game and if something is in the wrong place, you may break or smash into something.

The visor will show you your surroundings, ammo/reserves, grenades, score and little arrows to show you where your team is.

Now the tricky part is trading guns. Right now I have envisioned a folding gun controller that contorts to the shape of a rifle, pistol, or ordinance launcher upon syncing with the weapon you see in the visor, though its is still a rough idea that is generally how it would work. The controller would have some buttons on it making the input of on-screen commands quite simple.

Now for the MORE tricky part, death and being downed. In order to play you’ll have to wear a skeletal suit, which when you are hit you will feel the dull pain of being smacked by a maggot bag. If you are hit too many times you’ll end up on the gound. The tricky part here is to not actually hurt the player while downing them, I’m still working out how to safely force the player to the ground.

So, this is my rough idea, at the moment I havent the means to bring this into fruition( well level design can be done just gotta learn the Unreal Engine), but maybe someday, I’ll be able to make at least one of these. I don’t mind taking on zombies alone.
